I should address a couple of things in my first post here.  You should know that I’m usually “late to the party” when it comes to technology and the internets.  While I’m still quite proud of my very low Myspace ID #, I’ve been a bit behind the curve on everything else since 2004.  Tumblr included.  But, look! After some convincing from Begley and The Dez, here I am.

Why “Sound and Vision?” A couple of reasons I suppose.  First, I hate naming things;  Blogs, iPhones, Tivo, Hard Drives, and my little doughy avatar on Wii. Secondly, my interests only really lie in music and pop culture, so I found it somewhat fitting as a blog title.  Finally, it’s the greatest David Bowie song from the greatest David Bowie album.
